New Kings of War Ogre Chariots and Kickstarter update.

Well not so new they seem to combine the new orc chariot and put an ogre on top. And what looks like to be a baggage cart as well. Goblins will be helping out (plus gnoblars) so it's all good. This is one of the new army deals
Also they are starting to ship wave 2 this weekend so I eagerly await my confimation email and my stuff in the next 2 weeks. Bring it on.

Horned Gobbo - Jinx list

I'm crafting up a Jinx list as to the scarier of the lists for me.. There is a lot of filth at this tournament, very hard selection of lists. One or two softer lists but 80-90% really hard.

The underachievers. These are the people who have the goods to get it done but need to focus on the ball - Nic Jebson, Simon Switzer, Hamish Gordon, Joel van de Ven-Long ( I swear his name gets longer each tournament).

Scariest Lists for me.

#5 BOTWD crutch on white lions list. There are 3 of these; hide army behind line of white lions and chars in white lions. Graeme Fry, John Murrie (this is like revenge for Runefang isn't it?), Hugh Dixon are off my christmas list.

#4 Orcs and gobbos, level 4 SO shaman, double doom diver, double rock lobber, double mangler. I think it's now for O& G to shine. Special mention goes to my wife for taking 80 poison shots. Jeff and Fern are taking these lists.

#3 Dan B - I changed my mind about this one. One of the only lists taking lore of Metal. Both lizards are playing light and there is 5 CW armies.

#2 Thomas Van Rockel - All the toys double deathstars and 3 x2 Mournfang Cavalry. List is tight.

#1 "Hamish/Pete Abomination" list although Pete has tried and tested filth list, 94/100 pts out of last tournament with this list. Special mention for Locky's Twin Towers as should be fun.

I'm taking my fluff list again. Need top 10 to be in running for Masters. That's what I'm aiming for and to have fun. Most important to have fun, be hard, but have fun.

Horned Gobbo List - Nurgle Daemons...again.

So I did fairly well at the last tournament getting 4th out of a field of 28, It's been a really busy month so haven't painted much more of my Nurgle army. I've only changed a few things, added 1 extra beast and dropped my Nurglings plus put plague proboscis on my Plague drones and a standard to add extra boost for Blood and Glory..

Great Unclean One, level 4 Nurgle, Exalted Gift, Lesser Gift
Herald of Nurgle, BSB, Greater Gift
29 Plaguebearers w/ full command
20 Plaguebearers w/ full command
5 Beasts of Nurgle
1 Beast of Nurgle
1 Beast of Nurgle
5 Furies of Nurgle
5 Furies of Nurgle
3 Plague Drones, Plague Proboscis, Standard bearer, Gleaming Pennant

Again got my anvil of 29 Plaguebearers, 20 Plaguebearers as a utility/watchtower unit, an absolute tarpit and a bit of punch in 5 Beasts of Nurgle, strong punch with GUO and probable Eternal Blade, Chaff and utility with two single beasts and furies of Nurgle, and Epidemius to toughen out the army. Plague Drones are fairly strong and tough as well so will be most likely shoving them forward or towards a flank.

I really need to remember to roll to add plaguebearers for spell kills.

I'm overall happy with the list, it's an all comers army and not too cheesy, If I do the same as last tournament I'll hopefully get into masters. Just have to stay away from High Elf players this tournament and kill the rest of their crap.

Biker Chics

These look very cool . Can't wait for the Jailbirds bikers.

Paragon of Decay - 2nd Nurgle Legion - Round 1

The mountain pass rumbled with doom, a Great Nurgle Legion was approaching the blighted lands of the Vampires. Hasurkil the Harvester of Entropy had decided the undead horde of Valter Harkon was to be cropped. Too long had the undead flesh stayed the hand of decay and entropy. The Grandfather was guiding the scythe of Hasurkil to reap the undead scourge.  The Undead were today an obimnation that had to be eradicated. Life had to bloom again so it could decay.

So I played Nick in round 1 and wiped out his Vampire blender lord undead army and took one of his mountains.

I took: Paragaon of Decay with Chaos Warrior core

Hasurkil Bloodpus the Harvester of Entropy - Daemon Prince General of 2nd Nurgle Legion.

Chaos Armour,  Demonic Flight, Level 4, Lore of Nurgle, Mark of Nurgle,
Flaming Breath, Scaled Skin, Soul feeder, Charmed Shield, Dragonbane Gem, Sword of Striking

Exalted Hero BSB - "Aaron Gilmore" of the faded white flag.

Hideous Visage, Poisonous Slime, Dawnstone, Enchanted Shield
40 Chaos Marauders with flails, mark of Nurgle and full command
20 Chaos Warriors  with Halberds, mark of Nurgle and full command
1 x Chimera, Flaming Breath, Regenerating Flesh
4 x Beast of Nurgle
1 x Beast of Nurgle
1 x Beast of Nurgle
5 x Furies of Nurgle
5 x Furies of Nurgle
Chaos Spawn (60pts) Mark of Nurgle

Nick had:
VC Blender Lord,
10 Black Knigths
30 Ghouls
30 Skellies
3 Wraiths
2 x 5 Dire wolves
Black Coach
7 Blood Knights

I had bad dice rolling this game and only got one spell off, however mitigated this with manoevreing of DP and Chimera. Most of the game I had the ascendancy so didn't have to suffer the Scorn of Chaos which was great. Nick sucked his BSB down a hole and killed his blood knights with the aoe and left my DP swatting at the air. The beasts were again the stars of this battle, they lasted forever and did exactly what I needed them to do. My BSB (appropriately named after the battle because he was made of fail) was crap, rolled 12 and then 10 for my break test on my Nurgle Marauders who ran and got mowed down by the Black knight bus. Plague wind finished most of them off took the last wound off the VC general. Blood knights die really easily and is most satisfying with every wound they take.
In the Aftermath my Chaos Warriors got promoted to a regiment of renown and gained Stubborn, So they're now called the "Warriors of Eternal Lesions". Bad ass if you ask me.  I might sit tight on my 3 Mountains and delve next round. Get some of the good gold and maybe some armour for my GUO.

Storm of Tamurkhan: The Paragon of Decay

So I'm running a Tamurkhan list for our campaign, without Tamurkhan because I don't have the model...yet. I will be runng 3 generals using the Tamurkhan Great hosts of Chaos and running my generals as Paragons of Decay.

My generals are;

Arcturus the Blighted -Daemon Herald of Nurgle

Hasurkil Bloodpus the Harvester of Entropy- Warriors of Chaos Nurgle Daemon Prince
He feeds on sloth and ravages of time.

Sahmmael "Papa Sam" The Bloated Father  - a Great Unclean One

I have 2 special rules for my armies touch of Destiny which grants and extra +1 Ward for my general and if general dies then all untis on table suffer a leadership test, if failed they are destroyed. So I will be taking a BSB every time.

What I've got in regards to units are listed below. I need to select a General from below and then the correpsonding core selections and BSB from the same book and then whatever else I can fit in from both the DoC and WoC books.

GW Stomping on Bitz Sellers.

Looks like GW has been stomping on independant resellers providing legitimate services. Way to stifle innovation.

Bye Bye Bits

It has been a privilege and a lot of fun to be the bits supplier for so many amazing conversions on battlescapes the world over.  But, like all good things this too must come to an end.  Because we wish to remain part of the greater Imperium (Games Workshop) we must be compliant with it’s policies.  An act of noncompliance would surely bring Roboute Guilliman and his Ultra-Marines (corporate lawyers) thundering down on our homeworld (store) to bare none other than destruction on what we have worked so hard to build over the past 14 years.
If the political climate changes and Games Workshop permits individual bits to be sold again you can count on us to be the bits supplier you’ve always known.
As of Monday, June 10th,’s Battlewagon Bits will no longer be filling orders or clipping new bits. Our plan is to break the bits room down to form the most awe-inspiring Mondo Bits Bags ever made.
The Mondo Bits Bags will be available starting Monday evening, June 10th until Friday night, June 14th on a first come, first served basis.
Unfortunately, after the 14th we will cease to sell Games Workshop bits.
Thank you to all of our customers for your business and support of our bits program throughout the years.  It has been an honor.

Raging Heroes Toughest Girls in the Galaxy Kickstarter now on!

Well I pledged for $95 for Toughest Girls in the Galaxy. 6 hours and already up to $226,171. I may up my pledge later to $165 it just depends on whether I want a second Skullcannon now or later.

Whilst I like the Kurganovas and Iron Empire I will be going for mainly the Jailbirds. They'll fit right in with my Necromunda Escher figures.

9 month wait now.

Raging heroes Kickstarter 2 days and 6 hours to go

C'mon already. I got signed up as a special herald, still waiting to be added to their exclusive facebook page. It's looking even more awesome as days go by.
